I am imperfect
I am easy prey
I march on toward tomorrow
Before I’m done with today
I fight many battles with no shield or sword
I can fall before my foe at the first cruel word
I am capable of dreams and a weaver of lies
I often mistrust what is beheld by my eyes
What I can imagine, I can create
Be it a wonder of life, or a vehicle for hate
I can be alone when engulfed by a crowd
I can heed what is silent or ignore what is loud
I can draw innocent blood or fine art with the stroke of my hand
I’m a warrior poet that is simply a man…
Take time to smell the flowers, taste a snowflake or rain
And always be a leader when it’s time to go against the grain….
Another award from me for when you wake up, Trey. Brand new, minted by Don Charisma tonight, it’s The Innovative Blogger Award. Fits you to a T.

Geez…… I was gonna say “I’m touched” but you’d say “yes, I know” lol! Thx again! I’m not worthy!
Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel … You are worthy, Trey.
I love this line: I can heed what is silent or ignore what is loud. That is very profound and deep to me.
Good job.
Peace & Love
We have our moments…. “Shut up! I’m talking! Eat me!” “She was talking to me!”
