Which idolaters do you mean
exactly; the Egyptians, the Roman’s, the Catholics, the Baptists, the Buddhists, the Hindu, the Apache…. Who exactly? The Muslims? The Ka’bah, Sacred House comes to mind. Mecca?

Which unbelievers exactly? Who are you to judge another; for you are not perfect, nor was Mohammed by his own admission. The man, Jesus did not claim to be perfect. Buddha would laugh until he pissed his pants if you called him perfect.
Our whole purpose in this life is to be better than we started out, to progress, to grow, knowing for a fact that we will NEVER come close to perfection.
But, we still try.
Killing your neighbor because he is different is not perfection. It is not progress.
It is old hat….dirty pool…bad form.

You put a lot of blame on Allah.
No man, nor woman is meant to die violently.
We’re supposed to sleep into death.
Calm….
Unafraid…
Tired.
“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.”
See, it’s in our book, too.
But, we are simple animals and it makes us feel better when we have a visual object to focus on.
We know it is not “God” but we use it, well, most of us, use it as a reminder in our understanding of God.
I look at sky, moon or sun when I pray.
Are they idols?
Did you know that the pre-Islamic moon gods name was Allah…?
The sun has been called
A) Apollo, Helios……Greek
B) Gnowee…Australian Aborigines
C) Malakbel…Arabian
D) Nanauatzin….Aztec
E) Ra….Egyptian
F) Aryaman….Hindu
G) Lakota, Wi….Native Americans
H) Baldr…..Norse
Etc…infinitum.
The names go on and on, and there’s just as many for the Moon God’s.
It has’nt been that long ago that we wore animal skins and threw rocks at the moon, you know.
People have and still do, worship, actually worship, eg; Nature, water, mountains, trees, snakes, the Sea, The great River, Uluru or Ayers Rock….it goes on and on.
Idols and God’s… Everywhere!

We teach, around here.
At least we’re supposed to.
We don’t all do it like it’s supposed to be done; as a matter of fact, there are all kinds of intolerant fanatics in every aspect of every facet of belief or tenet of faith.
They’re everywhere…
We have Snake worshipping Holy Rollers, however, their ignorance, misinterpretation of the scriptures, and rattlesnake venom get them killed, not bomb vests; or fellow Christians.
You see, we allow others the FREEDOM to believe in what they will, as long as it does not harm anyone whose beliefs are contrary to theirs.
We even leave the Flying Saucer worshippers alone.
I think God/Allah has an awesome sense of humor.
We debate, we argue, we throw tomatoes and spray paint graffiti on their churches, we call them names but, we do not, as a general rule, kill them.
You see, my Muslim brother, we know we are not perfect. We know we get it wrong. We know that we’re not supposed to judge but, we can’t help ourselves.
We are only men…
Thats why we have the concepts of forgiveness and repentance. Oh wait…those are in the Quran, too….
Weird.
You know, if your study of Mohammed and the Quran was thorough, the extremists that soil your faith and blaspheme the name of Allah, may have missed the very fact that the prophet Mohammed kinda liked Abraham and Jesus…
